I am getting stuff from them and all the replies people are making to them in my e-mail. I have mozilla thunderbird, and I have never had a problem like this.

I can't figure out where it is coming from.

Sometimes certain spam becomes "popular". I'm sure many people have have also gotten the Nigerian oil scam emails, and solicitations for extends, viagra, vicodin, and oxycontin, etc. too.

It could be, however, a Green organization since it's a Voting Issues organization. Is anyone signed up on any IRV or election reform email lists?

8. One question

Which email address is this spam coming to? DON'T post it here, I'm just asking if it is coming to the email address where you would normally receive emails from DUers, or the "permanent" email address you gave upon registration here. For some members, those addresses are the same. For others, they are different. Answer by PM if you prefer.

I doubt this is DU related, but I'm no expert. I'm not receiving this spam, but my "permanent" address has changed (that job I had at the time was a lot less permanent than I thought - LOL!).

on my "permanent" account or otherwise. I use GMail, and the filtering doesn't seem to be that good. But since my spam folder never empties when it should, I get to see what has been filtered. It hasn't caught anything from these people...
