All the joy of a LeBaron and a Maserati wrapped up in one super car. Great thinking Lee!

I loved the hell outa that car....

I was delivering the NYT for extra cash at the time and would drive around with the top down, windows up and inside lights on and toss the paper out over the windshield.....

It might have been a 86 or 87.... It's hard to remember... I have had so many cars over the years....

It was more boxy, not sleek at all.... And was a very heavy car....

I remember it had aluminium heads that blew out and I had to replace them...

It was our third car at the time, I got it from a client...

7. No such animal, nor could anything like a Hemi be used in a FWD K derived
... platform. Perhaps you had a LeBaron Turbo. These had up to 176 HP which wasn't bad for a Chrysler 4 cylinder engine in its day, tho it was considered a rough engine.

8. There was also a crazy Daytona/Lambo combo...
I remember reading about it. The Mopar team squeezed a Lamborghini drivetrain into a late 80s/early 90s Daytona, with amazing performance (but 2" of ground clearance). 0-60 in 4.8 or something nutty like that.

It had a huge graphic of the Lambo bull on the hood; apart from that, it looked totally stock.

I guess John DeLorean wasn't the only designer doing huge amounts of blow in the 80s!
