Breaking - rubber glove manufacturers fear shortage
Rubber gloves, used by hospitals and clinics throughout the world, are also used by police departments for body cavity searches. With the indictment of Tom DeLay, and the possible upcoming indictments of Bill Frist, Karl Rove, and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, among other GOP officials, manufacturers fear a possible severe shortage. "With demand for these gloves expected to increase dramatically over the next few months, we're not sure we'll be able to keep the hospitals and clinics supplied" said an anonymous spokesperson for the glove industry. GOP officials declined to comment.
