I've caught one of my sons watching these things a few times and they always are "conventional" scifi plots with some nasty sexploitation (gunpoint blowjobs, crap like that) thrown in. BTW - these movies are never rated.

I finally disabled the damn channel on the satelite box. Sleazebags.

2. Yes, SciFi movies have no plots

Danica McKeller is trying to restart her acting career. SciFi gave her the leading role on *this*. I want to strangle the screenplay writer. It is beyond horrible.

The only reason SciFi greenlighted it was for the geek Wonder Year audience.

Some mission to Mars starring C. Thomas Howell as some evil corporate stooge of the future (corporations ruled the world & governments were subservient to them... sort of like the US is now, but this was the whole world) and David Chokachi playing some down on his luck Han Solo type of spaceship pilot. Yes, David Chokachi of "Baywatch" fame as a Han Solo knock-off.

but, they had landed the the middle of a martian civil war between the ones that wanted to be friends with Earth and those that wanted to wipe us out.
