My cynical Denim Day political tally
I'm handling Denim Day for my floor. This year I decided to run two tallies:

Members of which party have donated more money?

and

How many Republicans are participating, and how many Democrats?

I'll let you know next Friday how it turns out. Right now, the Democrats lead in both categories.

2. Lee National Denim Day benefits the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
this is the tenth year Lee Jeans has sponsored Denim Day. It's the biggest one-day fundraiser for breast cancer research. Their goal this year is $10M.

Anyone who wants to wear jeans on Friday, Oct. 7, makes a minimum $5 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

(And Dems are still winning.)
