Who watched ER last night?

I saw the first half but i fell asleep and i'm dying to know what happened with the lady who was still breastfeeding her kid that was around 7 years old. Please and thank you.

It was just a parenthetical incident in the opener. Neither was seen again.

The rest of the episode was about Sam and, um, the Croatian guy driving to Colorado in search of her runaway son and the usual crew of residents breaking in the new interns. (You may recall the scummy guy who became chief resident last season when Pratt turned down the job; suffice to say he acts in character throughout.)

I think the whole opening breastfeeding bit was sort of a controlling thematic metaphor for the rest of the episode in some way. Interesting if you're a controlling thematic metaphor fan. :rofl:

4. Ok,

They found Alex, after Luka drove to Davenport, IA and then Colorado. He was in diabetic shock, but was ok... though it's a different kid... they pulled a "Darren" from Bewitched on him.

Then, she brought the kid to visit his lame dad in jail and DUMPED Luka. She told him that they want different things.
