What's happening in DC today?
I could use some info on where the action is in DC today.

I've got my pic phone and I'm ready to trans pics to DU.

What have you all heard?

I'll go check afterdowningstreet, internationalanswer, unitedforpeace.

1. I'm going to the ellipse
On Friday, September 23, we will be setting up all day at the Ellipse, beginning at 8 am and going until we finish at approximately 5 pm. Then at 5 pm we will have a sign-making worksession (also at the Ellipse). (This is very close to the location of the International Tribunal on Haiti, which begins at 7 pm at George Washington University.)

2. If you are in DC and want something to do, you can help UFPJ
-make signs @ the Communication Workers of America office located at 501 3rd Street NW (near the Judiciary Square Metro).

I heard there is a peace vigil tonight somewhere near Columbia Heights but I don't have the details. Hoping maybe someone here does?
