8. I am feeling sad and scared for the folks in Rita's path
I am also feeling blessed that I live as far inland as possible on this continent.

to wait for my favorite place to open at 5:00.

But only because I haven't made any coffee yet - so it's my fault as usual (I'm not a lark like some folk round here). I assume that you and Greekspeak are both over the nasty illness now.

40. Definitely had some now.
It was only an ungodly portion because I was up late - not that long of waking time without coffee (bad things happen when I don't get any :scared: ).

:hi: Sorry you're a little under the weather but I'm glad you had a break from work. I'm late signing on again this morning but for a better reason than usual--I went swimming this morning for the first time this week. That usually gets the day off to a good start. I'm excited about going to Washington for the march! Have a good day and a good weekend! B-)

I guess it's still good morning over there. :hi: Getting out early for some exercise is always good - I never really do so, but I do walk to work which is very good (except in nasty heavy rain). Sorry to hear about your brother - lots of good thoughts for his safety.

and generally joined by scary appearance (messy hair, very bad stubble :scared: 'coz I don't like looking a mess).

44. Yes, Rita is going to be a big mess.
And some of the Katrina evacuees had relocated to these areas about to be affected. Has anyone heard from Khashka? I think he lives in the strike zone.
