My odd encounter at a stoplight today...

Okay, so I'm going home from work and pull up to a red light in the right lane with my window down... In the left lane next to me is a huge pickup truck...

I'm stopped there (it's a long red light) listening to Randi Rhodes when I hear the question "Wanna race?"

I turn down the radio and looked over...two very big and burly looking guys, who could have been twins and/or NFL linemen, were looking right at me, waiting for a reply...

I looked at their truck, (twice as big as my thirty year old car) wondering if they were serious, I said "I don't know how I can beat you!"

The driver replied, "Gotta stick?"

I started to say "no, it's an automatic"...

when the passenger guy says "He wants to know if you can beat him with a stick..."

Just then the light turned green and they sped off, turning left...

I continued to go forward...thinking to myself
