One of my cats just caught a fly...
Zorro stalked it for about an hour before finally smacking it to the ground.

Impressive!

1. I left my cat alone over the weekend
and came home and she was exhausted. I moth had gotten in somehow and she'd been chasing it for three day.

2. Uh, is this your first cat?
Or the first time you've watched one?

3. It must be moth hunting season for cats
I heard mine wailing on the porch a while ago, and when I looked out, there was a huge moth drooping there on the concrete. As I watched, it pulled itself together, unfurled its wings to a 3"-4" span, and laboriously flew away. The cat just sat and watched it go.

It makes a nice change from voles, I suppose.

4. My dog does that.
A fly buzzes by him and, SNAP, he gets it and then, URP, he swallows it. Interesting, and disgusting.

8. Same here
There was some flying insect my wife insisted I clobber. I grabbed a piece of tissue and started chasing it. All the sudden SNAP! my dog had just eaten the bug.

Since then he will try to snap flying bugs out of the air for his own amusement.
