Which Buffy Villian was the Best

Ok, I need a break, here's a FUN poll for the Scoobys on DU. Which of the major baddies was the 'best.' I'll let you define "Best." I defined it as the one I enjoyed watching the most during "their season." In my case it's the Mayor, I thought he was interesting, fun to watch, and I enjoyed Season 3 the most.

1. The Mayor

He could be scary without even trying! :scared: Spike and Drucilla were creepy, but also a good evil pairing. I could relate to the Ubernerds more than anything else (besides the whole murdering-your-friends thing).

2. Angelus

Because the episode "I Only Have Eyes For You" couldn't have been without evil Angel, and it sits atop my favorite episodes list.

The Mayor? Interesting story line, but I kept on seeing him as the overburdened empath "Tam Elbrun" from ST-TNG. Not scary. And the big snake was pretty lame.

4. glory! sh*t, i can't undo a mistake vote...

but it was glory, all the way for me. the episode (sorry, not good with names) when she fries tara and willow comes after her and then buffy has to save willow, that last fight scene has some of the best lines ever.

glory: ah, the lover. they used to burn witches you know (raising to strike the killing blow)

buffy: (grabbing glory's hand) and they used to bow down to gods!

i miss fifth season, the best in my opinion by far.

5. Went with Glory

That wasn't my favorite season but she had some great lines and I loved her minions and the names they came up with for her while kissing ass. I picture White House staffers doing that when * is around.

Now I have an image in my head of shrub in a bubble bath. THAT'S worth at least a month of therapy! :puke: But them wolgy and condy and rummy would look natural in those brown robe n hood outfits the minions wore.

10. Glory was fucking lame

Not to mention annoying as all hell. She made Adam look positively exciting by comparison.

I picked the Mayor, because he was the last Big Bad that ever really seemed like a threat to Buffy and the gang. After him, I'd kind of fast forward through the episodes, at least until the First showed up.

Am I alone in hating Riley? I thought that guy was a terrible actor, not to mention the fact that his character got all needy and shit when Joyce died.

The Troika was cool, but I hated the way Tara died and then Willow went all evil. Too easy.
