Have you ever found the most perfect greeting card
It's only happened to me a small handful of times. Usually I search and search until I find one that will do, barely.

Today, I found a perfect one. I was picking one up to send to Cindy Sheehan. On the front it says "UNITED we stand" with a picture of a flag in in front of a blue sky and on the inside it says, "Thank you for making a difference".

Perfection. Now, to find a stamp and off it goes.......

1. Excellent...
and that tired slogan is made shiny and new for the situation. Perfection, indeed.

2. Yes
And then it requires a special matching envelope, which is always missing. Good for you, though!

4. I'm normally not much for cards
but I found a good birthday card for my friend this past May. It was totally random. Hallmark has a special line of more quirky cards..this card said something like "Paco wants you to go to Omaha with him. Birthday or no birthday, do not go to Omaha with Paco"..the card made absolutely no sense and had almost no relevance. Perfect for this friend! She got a kick out of it.

5. I live in the land of Hallmark.
And I hate greeting cards.
Maybe it's just me.

Doncha have a Costco card? While I love saving money, I don't want the Debil to smile.

18. Walmart
That's the problem. Many of us refuse to shop at Walmart. They are evil, they treat their employees badly and they are driving local companies into the ground.

But it's the thought that counts. :)

8. I had a co-worker tell me once...
She and her husband, on anniversarys and other dates, would go into a Hallmark, separate, find a good card to give each other, meet in the middle of the store, hand each other the one they picked out, read them, then put them on back on the shelf! LOL!

9. Haha
That's classic.

Sometimes I develop a bit of a morbid sense of humor in the card store. They have cards that say "Happy 100th Birthday!"..How many of those do you think they sell?? :silly:

The lamest birthday card I've seen was this one that said Happy __th Birthday!!" and then it had a paper turn-dial that you could turn to the year!! So tacky!! I should have bought it. :+

15. Very cool
My best friend just bought the perfect card for me and gave it to me at my bridal shower. I got all teary-eyed reading it and then she saw me tearing up and started bawling her eyes out. We're so sappy but it really was the nicest friend card ever and it fit our friendship to a "T"
