Do you ever dream about celebrities? What do they do/say when you do?
I have a lot of period dreams- other eras/ places and often dream about celebs I could care less about... go figure.
My fave was breaking up with Frank Sinatra. It was about 1965, and I had a very sophisticated updo, dramatic eyeliner and a peacock color iridesent sheath dress and matching stilettos. Very Maria Callas. I was pissed off we couldn't go normal places, specifically, my friend's resturant. My friends were beginning to think I was making up the Frank stuff, because we were so reclusive. We could never arrange to meet them, even with his four full time body guards who never ever looked directly at us, who were surronding us in the back of his limo.... we had to pay to empty out a restuarant or sit backstage at shows or just stay in. I told him I felt caged in, that he was getting as bad as Howard Hughes, and that I couldn't live in his fishbowl anymore. All true (in the dream) but I also knew he never got over Ava Gardner, I think that was why he grimaced when I mentioned Howard. He said coo coo baby, he couldnt live any other way, but I would always have a special place in his heart.

Funny thing is, I was never attracted to Frank, he's just a really pervasive presence in my town.
When I told my friend who owned the restuarant about the dream, she laughed and said "You wish". All I could think was, No, but I wish I had that dress.

1. I lived in Hoboken in the 80s
And my Frank Sinatra dream, shortly after he died, was that I accidentally chopped off most of the fingers on my right hand and calmly went to the ER to have them restored and Frank Sinatra was my surgeon.

I decided that the dream meant I could heal by taking singing lessons-- that I had lost the connection to singing that I had a child and if I found it again it would help me psychically. Which it did-- till I quit again.

He was sexy in the way of my father's generation, and I associated Frank with my dad. His voice, phrasing and choice of music were so romantic and stirring.

But in answer to your question-- lately-- Johnny Depp, being as he is-- incredibly beautiful and unavailable.

4. What happened to her?
I don't think I was ever in their place.

I know what you mean about wearing that outfit. There was something so atmospheric about those days. Glad the old movies let us revisit them.

it blended in my real life pretty well enough to be convincing, and i had this whole backstory made up. and the costumes well, that part was amazing. maybe it was more early pricilla presley. :)

5. I don't tend to see faces when I dream.
I can tell male from female, but that's usually it.

My dreaming about celebrities run more toward day dreaming if you know what I mean.

7. I have
Not often; mostly I dream about people I have never seen before in my life (?????what's up with that?)

I had a dream about Bette Midler once. I was driving around some city I didn't recognize and apparently she was giving a concert in a high school gymnasium for some reason. But there were circus animals involved, like tigers. So maybe it was a double bill with Siegfried and Roy?? It was very strange.

18. I very rarely remember dreams
And I am always the star in them. (I don't know what that says about me.)

Once time I had a dream that involved Sly Stallone. (Why I don't know.)

I was out for coffee with my mom, and she got all serious on me, and told me that Sly had AIDS. I then started working in the coffee shop, but I got fired.

I had another dream where I was taking my young cousins to an amusement park. We had to go to the bathroom. When we got there, we realized that the toilet seats were stuck down. A bunch of 'Dads' from 60's sitcoms came and fixed them for us. They were in Black and White and were wearing suits.

28. same with me, I hardly ever remember dreams
I can count on 1 hand the number of times I've remembered dreams in my adult life.

I've fantasized about plenty of celebrities, but don't remember any dreams about them.

26. yeah I watched it, that's what made it even worse
She caught me watching her too and made me swear secrecy, it seems like she might have been my date or something, it's a pretty foggy dream. I was hanging out with her I know and then she went off somewhere and I went to look for her. Next thing I know she was in this wooded area just brutally murdering some guy with a big knife. I mean she was just explosive and vicious. I remember that vividly. There I was standing behind a tree, frozen, jaw agape and she looks up all bloody and awful looking and sees me. My heart nearly exploded. I kind of remember hanging out with her after that, fearful of what she may do when she got me alone. Now, ordinarily I would be mighty happy to be alone with a gorgeous woman like that, lol, but not this time! I was freaked out. I ended up getting jolted out of my sleep because she moved too quickly towards me or something. I was freaked out feeling all day, as if I really witnessed a brutal murder it was so vicious. What made it scary though, is I just wasn't scared of a woman, because what I saw her do was nearly superhuman how strong and fast she was when she killed that guy. It was like she was a perfect killer. That no human could have matched her when she was in an adrenal state. It was messed up.
