No, she didn't get a job here - although she could run the IT department with one hand tied behind her back.

Mrs. V. had a class this week. Today it dismissed early but I can't leave early, so she's sitting in my boss's office, on the couch (boss is in NY), reading a mag and waiting for me.

It's kinda fun to have her here. All my friends are stopping by to say hello.

But it's just making me more EAGER to get the heck outta here and relax for a couple of days!!

9. Yes, I think you are developing eye trouble.
You can't see staying at work any longer. ;)

5. Most of my jobs have been casual enough so it wasn't odd
Now I work in a grocery store so it would be. However, about 4 years ago, I was working an evening shift and I called my son on my break. My son lives with his dad in Virginia (I'm in California) and I'd been trying to arrange to have him come visit for quite a while. His father picked that day (Mother's Day) to inform me that he would NEVER let my son come see me.

Then I had to go back in to work. :nuke:

I called my SO, pretty much in tears, and told him what had happened. He roared right down to the store and stayed there for the next 2 hours to make sure I was okay. I worked in the produce department at the time and he came in, loaded dollies with boxes for me and even stocked some of the stuff out on the sales floor. The boss knew what had happened and simply pretended not to see him there.

It was one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. :loveya:

6. Unfortunately, it is not allowed where I work
Especially with all the concerns about bioterrorism now.
I really wish that he could come to work with me. That would really help me out a lot. It has nothing to do with my fantasy.
