Just because these concepts are mirror images of each other does not logically mean that you can therefore harbor both feelings towards the same individual.
I still maintain that's a pretty good definition of insanity... or idiocy.
15. Actually, I think indifference is the opposite of love.
It has been my experience that when a wronged spouse or SO purports to 'hate' the other spouse or SO, that they are still emotionally entangled. When they profess indifference, they are truly ready to move on.
18. I love my husband immensely and would do anything for him.
But he makes lots of noise when he eats, and I get a visceral reaction that is really similar to how I feel when I see * on television. If that isn't hate, I don't know what is.
