At all times, someone somewhere is having a very bad time. We can care about people, we can work for their welfare, and we can fight for justice. We can do all these things because they are right. But you don't get emotionally involved with every single case of someone having a bad time that we hear about. That's not being human. That's just being a fraud. No sane person really does that.
