What do you think about women playing Roller Derby / Roller Ball?

I want to play but the only 2 teams in CA are too far away. Any women live in Santa Barbara County want to make a team?

2. Of all the games and sports one could play,

this is the one I want to do. I am a great skater and think my "style" would complement a team. I have read about other teams and how the game is played. I'd like to give it a try.

3. I watched it when I was a kid and I could never figure out what was

going on other than people were bruising themselves up a lot and fighting. It would be interesting to watch it again as an adult
