"Hunt for Red October" best Clancy movie ever?
Just watching it on Spike. IMO, it was the only Clancy movie worth the ticket price.

1. You must be kin to my husband. I'll bet he has seen this movie
at least 8 times. And he likes Clancy type books, too.

4. I liked a couple of the early books.
The rest became repetitive.

ANd the rest of the movies just didn't have that feeling of being authentically in on military tech.

2. Pretty much.
But I think "Sum Of All Fears" was the best book.

3. "Best" "Clancey" "Movie"...triple oxymoron.
LOL.

I'd rather shove Thai Dragon peppers in my nose. Believe me...it hurts.

5. Oooo, I chewed some of those dried papery chinese peppers once.
Took the rest of the day to recover. Ouch.

6. It's beautifully directed, I'll watch nothing but widescreen for it
It's not the greatest story, but no Clancy is, but it's the greatest Clancy movie by leaps and bounds above the rest.

It's even better on weed :smoke:
