Pigs CAN fly!
In fact, they're in my backyard at the bird feeder right now! Grackles, house finches, house sparrows, mourning doves, a redwinged blackbird and "Texas pigeons" (I don't know what these birds are; our builder told us they're called that). Glad we can help these little critters eat, but they certainly do chow down!

1. Damn grackles.
They will chase off the other birds eventually. They're just mean.

3. It's kind of grackle-sized, but a little thinner
Crooked legs that make it waddle around - light brown feathers. I saw one pecking at a little sparrow or finch the other day (the little one escaped unharmed).

4. Can get a pic and post it.
Sounds like the female version of the Grackle.

5. I'll try.
We had grackles in Wichita, and I never saw any that looked like this. But who knows?

7. There are many kinds of grackles...
I wonder if they're all so pushy. :)

8. That may be it!
Are the females meaner than the males? I've not seen the males showing aggression toward other birds, but I've seen the females talking some trash!

9. They are both mean, males and females have been known to kill...
smaller birds and chicks.

But technically, a real pilot flies the plane.
