remember 'no friLLs' food?

i'm eating a no-name bag of saLsa chips, and they remind of the the no-friLLs nacho chips we used to eat when i was a kid. i'm totaLLy regressing now, and remembering aLL the white packaged food with bLack writing. ('no friLLs corn fLakes, no friLLs cheese curLs, etc)

i hated that shit as a kid, but 20 year fLashbacks are nice once in a whiLe.

now i'm craving a thickLy sLiced, griLLed govt. cheese sandwich. :9

1. When I was in college we used to have parties with

no-name BEER and no-name CIGARS

the beer came in white cans with black letters that simply said BEER

the cigars came in a clear plastic bag with a white paper label inside that had the word CIGARS in black letters.


Those were the days my friend.

The generic brands with the plain label.

This asshole of a boyfriend at the time threw a fit in the grocery store when I was buying it. He said he was embarrassed.

I told him when he got off his ass, got a fucking job and paid my bills then he could have a say so in what I bought at the store.
