30. Yeah? well I lost 2/3rds of my middle fingernail today.
It's been broken ever since a 56" rear projection TV fell on it right after hurricane Jeanne...go figure.

I thought it was healing fine; the dead part had even fused into the livng nail.

My goddamn Cairne Terrier ran headfirst into my middle finger (don't go there...). damn thing is hanging by a thread; I'm ashamed to admit I'm an enabler, what with my waterproof bandaid and whatnot.

Oh, and I clipped all my teonails yesterday.

Always just loved those band guys. I don't think it's nerdy. I think it's cool.

14. My 57 year old garage refrigerator decided not to turn 58
Had to go order a new one for the pop and beer brigade. So strange to feel sad in a sentimental way over the death of an appliance.

That's pretty much my day - and oh yes, the weather broke a bit so it isn't so hot and humid.

21. Thanks - but it will be nice
to be frost free with a larger freezer section that can hold a bag of ice. This baby is only about 24 inches wide and 48" tall. It served a family of four in our cottage for many years. Good old Frigidaire - when they were a GM company on their own and now they are owned by Electrolux.

The steel alone will be a boon to recyclers.

I will take a pic of it before it goes - along with its energy hogging ways.
