There are only two people in my office
My husband and me.

A man just came in asking to speak with my husband (he's a lawyer) and I showed him in to my husband's office (there are three rooms to our office, a reception area, my husband's office and my office).

The guy sat down and actually, looking at my husband, waved to me and said in a high pitched voice, "Bye-bye" as I was walking out closing the door behind me.

I realize I'm not the lawyer, but I do everything else in this office, and if that jerk thinks being rude to me is going to help his case.....:grr:

1. Maybe your hubby should say Buh-bye to him?
I know that's what I'd do if someone did that to
my sweetheart.

6. He does defer to me on some cases
I also do my best to remember that this is how we pay our bills and we can't always like our clients.

3. Some people feel they don't need to engage in common courtesies
with the 'help'. Good luck... maybe his attitude will backfire on him.

8. He might not know I'm married to the boss
I'm going to talk with my husband after he leaves (he has made people apologize to me in the past when they have treated me rude thinking I was 'only' the receptionist..like it matters).

One client (who got my husband out of bed on my birthday) brought me candy the next day as an apology...we like him!

5. Look at it the other way
His rudeness probably helped land him in a lawyers office, waiting to 'wink wink' pay through the nose for being an arrogant ass.

11. You mean we can raise the rates for Pain-In-The-Ass clients?
What would that be? An annoyance charge? :7

13. I always had an "A" factor in my pricing
If the client was an asshole it got multiplied in. Usually if it was called for it wasn't enough to cover the aggravation.
