Real feel temperature: 104
I just stepped out for lunch and it was DISGUSTING. 91 degrees, dewpoint 77. We'll hit our high temp around 4 PM. Can't wait! :eyes:

I promised I wouldn't complain about the heat, after the shitty winter we had. But why can't we have a hot and DRY day? At least the hair would have a chance to look decent when I go on job interviews.

1. It is NASTY out there, you can see the haze in under 30 feet!

My cat was flat out on the wood floor when I got in earlier, now he's stretched out in front of the A/C.

I'm leaving it on.

4. Ich. It's awful.
And I don't have air conditioning in my apartment. Last night I was sticking to my sheets, and not in a good way.

6. You cannot survive in a Boston apartment without AC
I learned that the hard way. Small spaces, tons of apartment buildings blocking any breeze, and sun beating on the brownstones make for miserable sleeping, let alone breathing. x(

I'd pitch in 5, maybe 10 for a DUer stuck in this heat without AC

9. It's the humidity
It's actually dangerous to work out when it's this humid. I usually replenish electrolytes with a sports drink to avoid feeling weak and nauseous.

I'd rather sweat it out in July in Boston. At least we have more sun.

Can you convince her to move here? :-)

No snow, and you'll recall that I'm British so in a sense - these 'clouds' objects you speak of are 'the sun' to me.

20. I'd love for it to be cloudy only 270 days of the year.............
around here. Where I'm from in WV averages less than 60 sunny days a year, so Seattle would be a step up for me.

And yeah, its miserably hot here too.

21. Ah, humidity
I hate humidity.

It was 94 yesterday - supposed to drop to 86 today. Not much humidity though, so I don't mind being outside.

Good luck on the interviews.

23. I SUSPECT bicentennial_baby will be reporting some kickass
thunderstorms in about an hour. If they don't completely knock her off the grid.

24. I love thunderstorms, but they usually die out by the time they get
to the city.

I'm supposed to go to my aunt's for dinner in the Northwest 'burbs, and they get quite a few storms out her way. She's in a valley.
