I am thrilled beyond words and I think this may rejuvenate my music "career." Got it on eBay for half retail -- and it's brand new!

Yep, it's the Backpacker. It is not the largest guitar I've ever owned, but what's size got to do with it? The neck & fretboard are full size.

And it is definitely the most beautiful guitar I've ever owned.

:bounce:

1. Hmmm...it looks not unlike a balalaika, "comrade".
Why do you hate America?

5. Why?
When even the finest instruments in the world are overpriced, you ask why?

Heh. At least we're free to purchase these things, no, comrade? ;)

2. I've had my eye on that guitar for years
I have a bottom of the line Martin (I think it was about $550) and love it to death. It sounds much better than my other guitars that cost more.

7. Not surprised. This one is two feet long from tip to toe, the body is
maybe three inches wide - maybe - and it sounds scads better than my full-size "Vantage" dreadnought.

6. NO!
A D-28? Dayum. If envy is a sin, I'm going straight to hell.

I want the Jim Croce model. IF I can ever afford it, I'll have to hunt for it because they're not making them anymore.

Greed is another sin, isn't it? Want, want, want. Sigh.

12. Blackbird.
It's slightly less ubiquitous than Stairway. :hi:
