2. Well, there is some thought that allergies may protect from brain cancer.
I read that in the paper yesterday.

5. I can't get rid of the smell of Patchoulli
I love Bath & Body shampoos and for their semi-annual clearance sale I got the mega-bottles of shampoo & conditioner for like 75% off. Only problem is the shampoo is a Wheat-Patchoulli scented shampoo which worked really well for my hair but now my hair smells like cheap men's cologne

8. What motivates you to get a tattoo?
Edited on Mon Jul-18-05 01:39 PM by KzooDem
First of all, I am not baiting you. I'm not anti-tattoo or anything. Is it an artistic statement, and individuality statement, a political statement, a combination of those, or no statement at all?

I would never get a tattoo because I would be afraid I'd change my mind later and not want it. I'm also a little bit on the conservative side when it comes to my appearance, dress, etc... (but NOT my politics), but I don't have any hang ups with people who WANT to have them. Some tattoos that I have seen are downright works of art, I must admit.

I do admit that in the Wanted By Police section of the local paper, the descriptions more often than not includes "subject has a tattoo in X region of the body that says XYZ." I realize that millions of fine, upstanding, law abiding citizens also sport tattoos, so no, I am not suggesting people who get tattooed have a sinister streak! :-) I'm just curious what motivation to get tattooed might be shared by cool non-felons, and the big, the bad and the evil.

I'm just genuinely curious(and, I must underscore not the least bit judgemental)about what motivates you to want a tattoo?

12. They make me feel pretty
I have three already and they all represent some important time in my life, and they all make me feel good. I think they are beautiful. I am one of the fine upstanding people who has them.
