2. Cold Metal, huh? I had gotten the impression that....

..he had disavowed or people for some reason chose not to talk about that Instinct record. Personally I thought it was better than either the one before it (with Real Wild One on it) or the one after with his big hit with Kate Pierson (Candy). But when he started having a mini rennaisance with the Brick By Brick album almost every career overview of him seemed to leave out Instinct (the album which contains Cold Metal).

3. I always thought Instinct was one of his best post-Stooges albums...

...with emphasis on "Cold Metal" and "Tuff Baby." Lines like "pondered my fate while they built the interstate" are too good to be disavowed...
