....he told me he could no longer stand the carnage he had to look at daily and that he had asked for a few days of personal leave to get his head back on right. He was near the devastating blast that had killed all those children. He just cried on the phone and said that it is a sheer hell here. I didn't know what to say to him it was horrible and touching.
