10. Now that must of been one hell of a
Power Lunch! I'll support him, campaign on the ground for him! He can count on Dayton!

Thank you for sharing. I love to hear about positive Ohio Democratic action. Ohio Minority Leader, Chris Redfern is a great contact too. Is he in the loop too?

6. How does he feel about his grungey/violent TV show made fab in the 90s?
I know he's a Dem but since I'd heard that his show was staged I'd lost faith. Then it got bizarre as people started stripping EACH DAY. Then add in for the next season the stripping by the people wasn't enough so they had a real stripper dancing on a fireman pole throughout... "Circus" doesn't even begin to describe what happened to that show, which used to be very good and far more genuine at face value.

But the stripping killed it. (each episode being the same thing couldn't have helped either...)

7. I've always thought of it as great american satire
Probably not his intention, but he's a bright one so who know? In these days of high end talk shows like Dr Phil, Monty, Oprah, he's like the kid who turns over the pretty rock to see the bugs scurry.

9. He's very nice
I spoke to him several times when we were at the Convention in Boston, and I think he's a nice guy. He was very smart and not the least bit creepy. He also sent every delegate from Ohio a Christmas card that he signed himself which was a classy touch.

I'll ask you something.... Why Governor? We have two good candidates for that, but no one running for Senator. I would support him for Senator.

One more question... I heard he won't make any decision until Jan. 2006. Any truth to that?

11. Sorry, i had to go out for coffee....
He wants to be governor because he feels he can make more of a difference. He has a great plan to set up Ohio like a co-opt health. We cover everyone and bid out...

Yes, his contract for the TV show lasts until Jan 2006.

Also, h can't be on the radio once he announces so I believe he has a commitment until jan 2006 as well....

He doesn't need to announce. He has 100% name recognition. He has $ 50 million he says he wil put up personally. So he doesn't have to raise money and he doesn't have to get known. Although he is traveling the state.....

13. Jerry has a plan....a good one too.
I think he could win. I like him over all the rest...really. He has some interference to overcome but he also has time to rehabilitate. Money makes a big difference. Couple that with an easy, articulate message....... He may also bring out a lot of low-income voters who adore his show. To them, he is Chris Matthews.

15. Unfortunately the basis of that name recognition is
of pretty dubious merit. Although from hearing him speak, you're right as to his articulateness. What was his track record as former mayor of Cincinnati?

16. I'd have to look it up.....I'm not from there.
I did hear he had a tiny scandal. That said, it appears he did a good job with the management of Cincinnati.

17. From what little I've read about/heard of the guy
it doesn't surprise me. Sounds like one of those great smarts/poor judgment cases. Oh well, at least you can learn from poor judgment; stupidity, alas, is irrevocable.

18. Small Crisis, He paid for a prostitute with a check....
But that wasn't half of is, the pros was from Kentucky....

Seriously, that's the least of his worries....

If Arnold can over come his ultra violent "entertainment", don't you think JS can overcome the TV Show.....
