I'm sorry, but NJ drivers are crazed psychopathic idiots!!!
Edited on Sat Jul-16-05 06:34 PM by LynneSin
Only in NJ can I be driving 15mph over the speedlimit in a major downpour on the backroads of NJ and still be passed by some crazed grandma through a blind curve in the road. (Not kidding - happened today!)

Plus, I had another idiot tail my bumper simply because I slowed down to 40mph while drive through the town (speed limit was 30). I look in the rearview mirror and the idiot's head barely cleared the dashboard.

And, I attempted to keep them off my ass by trying to drive the same speed - almost lost control of my car on the wet roads. After that I was like "Fuck em! Let the idiots tail my car - if they rear end me it's their insurance"

If you're not doing 25mph over the speedlimit they'll fucking tail your ass until they can get pass you.

I swear the reason PA and DE have tolls on our bridges is to keep your drivers out of our state :scared:

But at least you have good taste in politics, just crazed drivers behind the wheel.

3. I'm a Jersey driver...
though I've certainly been in situations like you were today. Figured it was like that everywhere, always some jerks trying to get others to speed up,etc.

5. I was down in the southern part of the state
And I hit one circle that was like designed by Satan. I thought NJ was trying to get rid of those things!

6. There are a lot of those still, too.
And indeed, I believe they were designed by Satan himself. :silly:

4. I've found the worst drivers of all to be in
Detroit. But yeah, NJ is a close second.

But Boston has the worst traffic.

LA is bad, but at least you know where you're going!

7. Sounds like my Grandmother, God rest her soul.
Lead foot. Cops would pull her over and she'd do her little old lady routine, and they'd let her go. She used to tell me that I was too conservative and needed to get with the times. Died in 1974 at 83, and I still miss her.

8. Yep. You haven't lived though until you've been passed...
on the shoulder by a truck. (vehicles will pass you on the shoulder if they can't pass in a lane of traffic) :scared: :scared: :scared:

13. You haven't been to Miami
I take it. My company's ins rates are 50% more than they would otherwise be because we operate in South Florida.

14. I'm not saying I disagree that Jersey has bad drivers but..
the left lane is the passing lane. If you're only going 10-15 over and there are cars behind you, it's pretty much common courtesy to get out. Of course the highway tough guys take this too far often.

Then again you could have been in the middle lane..if so, yes, you're right. Jersey drivers do suck.
