this is a great idea!! To make it even better, how about when we receive a dollar bill (whether it's $1, $5, $20 or $100) we write something like that on it.

If you do that everytime you have a dollar and then spend it, before long there would be that reminder on a large portion of our currency!!

19. the "pen test" is useless

It is not recommended by the Treasury Dept. All it does is contain iodine, which reacts with the starch in some cheap papers.

To have some really mean fun, just spray laundry starch on $100 bills and spend them. People who get those bills may run into difficulty spending them; but so could you.

the pen test was junk.

I see the pen in various stores and the clerks use
them. I was even thinking of buying one to use
before I accept any money.

Our cash money is subject to attack. If the
country forces us to cashless society, our
personal accounts are subject to attack.

I think I prefer cash. Too bad the govt
doesn't spend billions on making bills
counterfeit proof.

23. No one that I know of has ever bitched

about the "Where's George?" info on bills. I've had a few of them pass through my hands, and I've recorded the info at the website. Many bills throughout all our paper currency years have been written on, and it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. And besides, who knows who has written on them? Seriously, I've gotten many, many bills with messages, names, sayings and other things, none of which I personally have added to, and I've never had any difficulty spending them.

if you don't want something that would be offensive.

Personally, I like "Bush Lies" as opposed to "Lied" since * is a continual liar. (Nnot just in 2003 prior to the "invasion")

I think passing any negaive comment about Bush on US currency is an awesome idea.
