My ignorance is phenomenal!
I mean, I've been using this animation and effects software called Maya, but I had NO idea Maya is a translation of Illusion. Or the Goddess of Illusion, or as someone else put it

Ramana relies on a text, the Vivekacudamani, which may or may not be authentic Shankara.

2. Ramana was also influenced by tantra, which has this view of a relative reality of the world. In tantra, maya is not so much illusion as the creative power or shakti of Brahman (or Shiva). This power is seen as feminine, much like the Western tradition of Divine Wisdom or sophia.

Wow. I am one ignorant motherfucker! The next thing I know, adding one number to the letter count of IBM will show up somewhere! And the Indian nuclear Shiva missiles will be named after the God(ess) of destruction! And I should keep some of my photoshops to myself!

:nuke:

1. I read somewhere that Reebok once introduced
(and subsequently recalled) a line of women's tennis shoes called the "Incubus." Incubus is the mythical spirit which violates women in their sleep. You're not as ingorant as whoever named that show, DS1.

2. I've read that the Incubi legend began as a cover for incest/pedophila
I don't remember where I saw that, but it make sense.

3. Even more reason
not to name a women's sports shoe after it. (Hi, IC!)

6. kick for admission
next thing you know I'll realize that conservatism is truly the Tao, unless I realize that anything regarding itself as ~the~ Tao is bullshit, and I have to start all over again
