3. I have this theory...
Night people are an intricate part of evolution. I think anyone who welcomes the night is decended from those who watched over the tribe at night. It was they who discovered all that is good about civilization. To while away the hours, our ancestors would think of spirtuality, of better ways to do things, to think about how to get there from here........

then again, the numbers are about the same as for those who are insane, as well. but there is a fine line between those two, as they say...

Bear in mind that I live a sheltered life in a tiny, developing nation where universal health care is more highly valued than universal air conditioning.

Tell me about "Cowboy Yodel." (I did once see Riders In The Sky perform around a campfire in Oklahoma. Very cool and very funny. http://www.ridersinthesky.com/ )

32. That sounds like fun!
Well, "Cowboy Yodel" is just a rockabilly tune Wanda recorded live back in the 50's or 60's. She does some incredible yodeling in the song, which is not reflected in the actual transcript of the lyrics:

"There's a cowboy that I know ridin'in the rodeo
He's a feller that I'm fondest of
I love him and he loves me and that's the way it ought to be
But he drives me crazy when we're makin' love
Cause he always starts to yodel (yodel)

Well he always squeezed me at night while the moon was shinin' bright
And I knew I was under his spell
He was gazin' in my eyes and I was breathing pretty sighs
Then like Tarzan he'd let out a great big yell
And he started into yodel (yodel)

Well when he led me down the isle I wore such a pretty smile
And my handsome cowboy wore a buckskin suit
When the parson said will you promise always to be true
My lover smiled and gently cleared his throat
And he started to yodel (yodel)"

If you really want to hear it, PM me and I'll E-mail the MP3 to you.

BTW, have you had the opportunity to brunch with ABBA? ;)

37. Almost exactly as you were typing that . . .
my husband, the ultimate ABBA fan ( :eyes: ), informed me that Anni married a Middle Eastern prince and lived with him many years in Fribourg. He has since died, and she still lives in Fribourg . . . probably waiting for my husband to divorce me so she come sweep him off his feet.
