It is 1:30am and hubby is still not home
I am getting a bit worried. I know he couldn't get the book until midnight at the earliest.... and it sounded like his number in line was on the late end of things. And then he has a 40 minute drive home.

:(

3. he does but he hasn't called me in quite a while. I am hesitant
to call him in case he is on the road and feeling a bit punchy.

2. Maybe there was just a really long line
Sounds like you all live out in the sticks a bit with that long of a drive to a book store.

4. It'll be okay!
I'm a consummate worrier myself, and my worrying never accomplished one single thing, but you already know that. Can you call the store and ask? Try to stay calm - he'll be home soon.

5. I am sure he will pull up any time now. well, mostly sure. But I can't
go to bed til he comes in. Just don't feel comfy doing that.

Good thing I have DU for a distraction.

6. Me thinks the Slytherins are out tonight.......
Just kidding. Drove by the stores by us at about 11:00 and it was like the Beatles were coming...

Kids dressed up, parents watching from mini vans...

And teenagers who didn't quite want to give up on their childhood were seen lurking on the edges, hoping that no one would see them standing in line......

7. I was at Barnes & Noble getting HP tonight...
I was #162 and got mine around 12:20, if that gives you the general pace of things. I had a half hour drive home and dropped people off... so i just got in the door about 10 minutes ago. Hope he makes it home alright :)

9. If he hasn't shown up in the next ten minutes just call him.
I'm a worry wart too and I can't sleep until my husband is safe and sound with me. Call him. It will ease your mind.
