What have *you* been drinking tonight?
Tonight at my favorite beer joint I had

Ayinger Weisse Beir
Arrogant Bastard
Mahrs Wiess
and another Arrogant Bastard

Yum. But I'm having trouble typing and focusing on the screen.

Anyone else having some alcohol-themed exploits?

3. Naive Question(s):
What IS a --
Ayinger Weisse Beir? (I think it's "bier" im Deutch)
Arrogant Bastard?
Mahrs Wiess?

In my college frat boy days (mid 1970's), we drank Singapore Slings, Tequila Sunrises and Screwdrivers. Then we grew up and drank Old Bushmill's Irish Whiskey neat, with a Guinness chaser.

7. yeah, it's bier. sorry!
weiss(e) = wheat, possibly. Anyway, they both are kind of cloudy, light in color, and taste wheat-ey.

Arrogant Bastard is much darker and kind of sweet.

8. So the Weisses are Lagers?
Actually, "weiss" means "white" im Deutsch, not "wheat."

But I take your point. Thanks for the info!

6. There was a joint called the Brew Kettle
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 11:27 PM by Droopy
In Strongsville, Ohio where we had a meetup that had Arrogant Bastard on tap. After tasting it I now know why they call it that.

On edit: I've been drinking diet coke tonight.

My wife is from a little town near Strongsville. You're all Browns fans, aren't you? How sad.
