Do politics get in the way of your life in area's outside politics?
I see people who won't watch movies because a star in it is a lackey for X party, they won't spend money in red states, and so on, etc.

Does politics go to such a deep level that you won't do things you may like to do if you know that company/person X does not share the same faith/party/politics as you?

:hi: For example, I love Everybody Loves Raymond and thought Patricia Heaton did an admirable job...even though I abhore her politics and think she should sit down and shut up about it. :hi:

2. In some ways......
Like I get conscious of buying things from Wal-Mart for example, or say like our local car dealer is a well-known Republican and I'd never buy from him. I'd have a tough time dating a far-right Republican woman, but probably not a moderate one.

5. I didn't really used to think much about that, but now I do.
Probably because before Republicans were merely fiancing detestable policies, where as now they are financing FASCISM.

That makes a bit of a difference.
