I'm related to Elvis.
Seriously. And not particularly distantly, either.

Who are you related to that's a little odd?

21. Dr. Samuel Mudd.
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 10:56 PM by Spider Jerusalem
He was an acquaintance of John Wilkes Booth, and after Booth broke his leg whilst escaping from Ford's Theatre, he went to Mudd to have it set. Mudd was sentenced to life in prison for conspiracy in the murder of Lincoln, and pardoned by Andrew Johnson for his actions in treating the victims of a yellow fever epidemic that killed the prison doctor.

Also, Francis Scott Key, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and (ugh) George W. Bush.
