Had a long day at work and wasn't paying attention. Just did a quick search of the site, and that came up, but it's not what you're looking for.

I gave a bad link. Gutenberg has no Hemingway titles. Apparently the copyright on them is still valid.

The original copyright would have lasted 28 years. That copyright could then be extended another 67 years by the copyright owner if renewed in the final year of 1980. I seem to recall some controversy over this involving his estate from that time, so I am presuming they did renew the copyright.

but via www.netlibrary.com you can read it online for free.

but you need a library card related logon.

I just checked and they do have it, but you can't get to it without a user name and password - which your local librarian can probably provide.
