Um. Ever get through most of a day and realize your shirt was unbuttoned
and showing just a little more than you're comfortable with?

3. I've stood in front of a meeting,
writing on a white board, and told afterwords that my fly was open.
I asked, "Why were you looking at my crotch?"

4. The male dilema
do you discreetly tell your co-worker her shirt is unbuttoned?

or,

do you enjoy the view?

or,

do you tip off your other male friends?

Edited on Wed Jul-13-05 04:23 PM by Richardo
...and finding that it's totally unnecessary

OK maybe there are SOME things worse, but it's pretty bad.

14. no, but once when I was in highschool
I went out to the bus stop wearing a blouse, a slip, stockings
and shoes but NO SKIRT.

I have always been absent minded, but that was one of the worst
times ever.

...on the bus, and pulled her shirt off with it. Got it almost all the way over her head when she must have felt the breeze and reversed course. Talk about an adolescent nightmare.

That image filled my adolescent brain for many a week after that, I can tell you.

36. I've done that more than once.
It's when I feel cool air hitting skin that I know I've managed to remove one layer too many. Trouble is, in the UK in the winter, I sometimes forget how many layers I have on and how many I'm actually grabbing to pull off. The worst time was in a lecture hall surrounded by young male students (there weren't many women on my course).

My mother used to tell me that when I was growing up in case I got hit by a bus or something. She never told me it was because one day I'd get my skirt stuck in my tights.

35. you mean like 'mr rodgers' used to purposely...
button his buttons one-hole-off all like 1/2 way to the top of his sweater & then go all like, 'oh my, it seems i've buttoned my buttons one-hole-off almost 1/2 way to the top of my sweater. well, i'll just have to unbuttoned them & start all over the right way if you don't mind waiting for me' to illustrate to the children of the world just how easy it is for even adults to be one-hole-off in their ways & means on a daily basis? you mean like that?

no...

relative situational awareness is not my issue. but hubby says i should buy coffee colored clothes

to stop wearing that does that all the time. The latest was on the T when I was carrying my usual iced coffee. I couldn't redo that middle button with one hand until six stops later.
