Any Fred J. Eaglesmith fans?

I got this CD last week,I really like it.I'd never heard of him before,and I wondered if he is indeed,obscure,or if it I'm just not paying attention.:-)

Big fan, never had the chance to see him live, but his live shows are fantastic from all I hear. Ralph's Last Show, as a live album is a masterpiece.

I occasionally post the lyrics to Time to get a Gun in the Gun forum. :D

Next to Robyn Hitchcock he is probably the funniest folk singer I listen to.

A live track from the Official bootleg series Vol.1 on the college radio,and ordered it promptly.I absolutely love it!

The video had a fifties movie feel, young man with a fast living girlfriend who is also in cahoots with a crooked cop.

The man is a GOD, and he's one of the nicest, plain 'ol guys you'll ever meet. That he's been as successful as he's been doing it completely outside of mainstream music circles is a testmount to him.

I've got "Time To Get A Gun" on my overnight show; that songs always cracks me up..
