Scotty ran to them yesterday to escape the US reporters questions about Rove. But today several of the foreign reporters were asking about Rove as well.
It's getting easier for him to refuse to answer anything using his new standard excuse. That's exactly what Rove wants. The press now needs to get around the Scotty firewall somehow, or else there will be zero news out of the WH until the 'ongoing investigation' is over (which is probably going to be around 2008).

about the situation (denying involvement is answering questions) until two days ago. So saying, "no comment during the investigation" isn't really going to pass muster this time.
6. However, the more evasive he is, the more he just looks like an ass
Most people understand what "no comment" usually means, especially coming from a politician (or a professional athlete). The more he keeps this shit up, the more it will look like they've got something to hide.
