4. When in doubt, THROW IT OUT!

Yesterday I defrosted some Jimmy Dean pork sausage of indetermniate age that I found in the back of my freezer. We're talking at least 5 years, maybe much more.

It looked a little freezer burned around the outside. I cooked it up. It smelled odd and tasted like it smelled. Must have picked up years of miscellaneous odors. I couldn't eat it. Probably safe but not appetizing.

6. i once lost 2 lbs of hamburger in the back seat of my 1959 Fiat

it slipped under the cusions in the back seat,but you couldnt see it. the smell wasnt too bad. but it was cold and when i warmed up the car using the windshield defroster the really Big green flies would thaw out and swarm like something out of a steven king movie. i finally found it, i nearly dismantled the car in the process.
