In response to Goldberg, the REAL 10 WORST AMERICANS
Edited on Tue Jul-12-05 01:32 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
(following goldberg's premise of who is most dangerous and is ruining the country)

the top 10 - according to me

1.Dick Cheney - the real power behind the throne
2.Karl Rove - the schemer
3.Sean Hannity - the propagandist
4.Tom Delay - the congressional mastermind
5.George W. Bush - for obvious reasons
6.Rush Limbaugh - lost ground to hannity, but still their big propaganda guy
7.James Dobson - replaced falwell and roberston with a friendlier, but more dangerous and politically-savvy face
8.Orrin Hatch - for the judges
9.Bill Frist - for everything in the senate
10.Roger Ailes - for FAUX

3. i limited to ten
goldberg's too much of a hack and his books have too little effect to merit him any real attention-he would still be in the top 50

and no one takes coulter seriously, other than the most hardcore freepers
- she would probably be in the teens somewhere

4. Dick Viguerie. Republicans would have disappeared from the Earth
in the 70s without him.

6. Great list, but I'd substitute Coulter for Limbaugh.
I think she's even more poisonous.

8. i was going more by goldberg's 'most dangerous' premise
in terms of pure vileness and if measuring by ability to cause another's genitals to shrivel into their body cavity, then, yeah, coulter would make the top 3

9. Vous avez raison.
Good point about Limbaugh. Now if you're talking impact, wouldn't you want to move Ailes WAY up on the list? Hannity - or for that matter, any of the rest of them - wouldn't be nearly as effective without The Network of the Damned.

11. true, but i was considering hannity's radio show as well
i think he has more impact through cross-promtion than foz alone

but you may be right there. i thought that one over a few times both ways and had trouble deciding

i also wondered if o'reilly should make the list, but i think most people watch him for laughs these days

10. I think that is too political
some of the worst people are probably industrial, such as Mellon-Scaife and my uncle David. They are the ones who fund the Frists, Delays and Cheneys as well as churn out the spin points through the Cato institute and Heritage Foundation, etc. Just google David Koch and see what you find about that master of evil. Ailes should probably be ahead of Hannity since he provides a forum not only for Hannity, but also Hume, O'Reilly, etc.
