2. Good point, I think Britain and France are trying to mend fences

There was a reenactment of the Battle of Trafalgar recently. But it wasn't Britain against France, it was blue vs. red. Tell me that wasn't a bit awkward.

at Buckingham Palace when * and Company made a visit to London. The * people also wanted to replace glass in the guest rooms with bulletproof glass. The Queen said no. I would think that the Queen has no fond feeling for *.

As far as Chirac goes, France and England have quite a good relationship. The Queen speaks fluent French. There is a Entente Cordiale (sp?) between France and Great Britain.

* was rude to Queen Beatrix of Holland at the D-Day remembrance.
He apparently turned down a lunch invitation. He mostly ignored her at the ceremony and at one point patted her back, which was a HUGE breach of protocol.

8. He always looks like a stupid little boy whenever he's surrounded
by men. Everything about him... the way he's leaning back in the chair, the way his feet are sort of pointed pidgeon-toed... that stupid grin on his face... how embarrassing.
