4. I heard several years ago

that there was a massive project in the works that would warn future generations of the danger.

The warning was supposed to be much larger than a football field, with tall pylons along the perimiter engraved with a warning in six or more languages. The idea was that the warning would sit directly over the site, and was supposed to be able to last 1000 years.

Since then, I've heard nothing about the part that would warn future generations that this is happening. Anyone else know what I'm talking about? I think I saw something about this on the Discovery channel...

I get to do that twice a day, every day, when I pass his house on Mass Ave.

A few weeks ago I was going to work and I started to go by a nice new Mercedes sportscar and I could see the driver's left hand resting in the open window holding a cigar big enough to be a baseball bat. I peered over to see the driver as I passed and it was an older (50-ish) black man, very nicely dressed, salt n pepper hair, looked like a very successful businessman or lobbyist. To my happy surprise he, without even looking, flipped off the Veep's house as he passed. YAY! I'm not the only one! I would have honked and given him a thumbs-up but in DC traffic at that hour in the am it might have been misunderstood.

On edit: This gives me such a kewl idea. A bunch of evilDUers dressed in BUSH 2004 T-shirts (if you can stand it) infiltrate a Bush campaign event. At the opportune moment, the leader gives the command PRESENT ARMS, at which time all render the middle finger salute. In case the press doesn't catch on, there should be at least one member of the party with a camera to capture the event.

Imagine a photograph of a group of people with BUSH 2004 T-shirts all giving the finger. No matter how you look at it, it doesn't look good, and the SS can't take your fingers away before you go in.
