5. LOL.
I'm not that bad. This is just my 2nd time seeing it. I was just looking for a reason to post a picture of Special Ed.

12. Yes, should be cool to see the deleted scenes
I just got back. Ian McDiarmid should get an oscar, although he was just a tad hammy in one scene. But, it is sci-fi, that is what was called for.

15. Of course Ian McDiarmid deserves an oscar....
that performance has Oscar written all over it,well at least in my mind. But yet again I do have a pro Palpatine bias...I can't help, I love the character.

18. This episode gave the character depth
Pure evil. Patient, calculating, seductive evil. I liked the "unwritten" storyline that took place in the opera scene.

21. Yes, the music sort of left you uneasy, until the ending.
At least, that is what I felt.

22. I wasn't prepared to be so moved !
Just a great movie experience overall. It's been out over 5 weeks now, and I read all the DU spoiler threads and discussions. I still was not prepared for the final hour!

14. I finally rewatched Phantom Menance & Attack of the Clones
Now that I've seen Sith (4 times now) I really have an appreciation for those other 2 films. Sure the acting is stiff and Jar-Jar is annoying. But overall Phantom and especially Clone are much better than I expected. I really love that clone war they had with all the Jedi doing their fighting - it was amazing.

But the thing is, before Sith - I could barely bring myself to watch Phantom & Clone again. But now I really enjoy them much more now that I've seen how it all turns out in the end

19. Phantom and Clones to me sort of just served the purpose
of bringing me up to Sith. It was interesting going back for a bit of the backstory, on the Republic. The duels were neat. I didn't feel attached to the story and characters much, though. Sith rectified that.

I do enjoy them more now that 3 was good, but still find a bit of disappointment, knowing that if Lucas still "had it", why didn't he use it on 1 and 2 as well.

I was suprised by 3, to be honest. Pleasantly suprised!

23. Oh, I agree - there are so many things I'd change in Phantom & Clone
but they did serve their purpose. And if you bare patience to the stiff acting and overuse of Jar-Jar Binks (Phantom), you'd find 2 really great movies with strong plotlines that help build up nicely to Sith.

When Clone came out I was so upset with it that I only watched it twice in the theater (and the 2nd time was so much nephews could see it). But I had actually watched the movie twice this weekend because of so many excellent scenes in the movie that helped take you to Revenge of the Sith movie.

YOu're right thought - it's a shame that Lucas couldn't have brought it home with Phantom & Clone like he did with Sith. But he did build strong movies with both of them - personally I'll looking forward to getting Sith on DVD so I can watch all 6 movies in Chronological order
