5. "To be, or not to be -- that is the question..."
The accident of birth is so amazing to begin with -- so many sperm, so little time, one tiny egg out of a lifetime's worth.

And so YOU are here. It isn't perfect. But is it worth it?

Would you rather NOT have been born?

Not to see the sunrise, the birth of a child, the rainbow, the tear in a bride's eye --

Yes, I know. A lot of it is tedious and painful and, above all, it ends quite unceremoniously.

"Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing..." was one man's description. But not mine. I'm glad I've had a chance to live. If I see one more sunrise and hear one more birdsong, it will never be enough.

In peace,

Radio Lady

But is it worth it?
probably not . . . this is not a rhetorical question.

Would you rather NOT have been born?
Yes, but unfortunately, that is not an option.

The accident of birth is so amazing to begin with -- so many sperm, so little time, one tiny egg out of a lifetime's worth.

I beat those odds . . . so why can't I win the Lottery?

13. The alternative to life is
dead.

And I know because I've been there and done that. And I have two t-shirts, a photo album and 4 page article in a medical journal to commemorate the event.

:hi:

(not just women, but SO's in general) they can make it seem like it sucks, at least when they decide to cease making things nice and become your ex, anyway.

Life blows; you suck for pointing it out to me while I'm here trying to escape.

I was dead once for almost 6 minutes before they brought me back. It wasn't bad - I plan on doing it again.

23. That sucking noise that you hear...
is the last gasp of air being sucked out of a vacuum. For that is essentially what life is, a shot put into nothingness. You are born alone into this world and thus shall ye depart... into the abyss. Knowing full well the whole time that your's is but a brief and pointless jig upon the stage of life.
