3. Hey, I lurked for a long time

but I am none of these. Spawn of Coulter?!?!? eehhwwwwwwwww! (or however you spell skin crawling)

I lurked here because it was great to read debates between people who shared my values, were sickenend by where this admin was taking our country, were heartened by the positive things we could do for our country, knowing that there were others out there who were taking action in grassroots mvmnts. Even now, I don't post that much, but I enjoy the lively debate and the diversity of approaches to the same question -- how can we make our country better for the majority of Americans, and how can we make sure the we do the right thing around the world?

So while I am sure that a lot of lurkers are the opposition checking things out and wanting to disrupt, a lot of lurkers aren't.

And the ones that are, well, who knows, maybe they will learn something. My personal feeling is that a lot of people are Republican and support * because they don't have enough information, or haven't really thought their positions through, or haven't recognized the being a Republican isn't logically in their best interest.

DU is nothing if not informative, challenging, requires you to think. So why not let the opposition enjoy that too?

5. I too, mostly lurk. I would much rather hear what other people have to say
