Today as we were coming home from the bakery I saw two dogs running around loose. They had collars but weren't with anyone that I could see. I got out of the car and told Paul to go ahead without me.
I called to the dogs. One of them started to run off but the other came over to me. I talked with him very quietly and calmly and was just about to put my hand on his collar when a guy gets out of a truck and comes over and starts yelling at the dog to get into her yard. So the dog takes off again.
The guy says they are his friends dogs and they got out of their yard.
I almost had the dog. Had he not started yelling I would have had the one.
the truck parked and the dog hanging by a chain about 2 feet off the ground jumping around like crazy. I stormed into the store and yelled anyone got a dog in their truck it is about to die a very sad death. You should have seen the men run.
Thanks for putting that tune in my head for the rest of the day! I was in Savannah not too long ago and they were celebrating Oktoberfest. One of the "festivities" was a dachshund race - true - hundreds of weiner dogs running through the streets and they blared that song.
are probably another sign of the stupids. I am terrified when driving behind a truck where there is a dog running about loose in the truck bed in case the dog gets thrown and I can't stop in time. Why do people transport dogs that way? Don't they love their animals?
13. Thought there were laws about that now - not sure.
I did see a parked truck with two dogs in the back that were in a kennel of sorts - looked more like a cage - and it was pouring down rain! Stupid asshole.
