Poll question: Poll on your parental status
Edited on Wed Jun-22-05 05:57 PM by bluestateguy
In light of the two flame wars we have had here over the last 24 hours about the rights of parents vs. non-parents, I felt it would be a good idea to see how many people here are parents and how many are not.

2. I guess I just can't understand
why both sides can't be a ittle more tolerant of each other. We were all kids once, after all. :)

14. 7th grade was an absolute nightmare for me
I'm not saying that it will be for her, but for me 7th grade was the year when everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

18. I had the English teacher from hell that year
and was involved in a lot of "I'm not your friend today" nonsense that is common among girls that age. I taught 8th grade for awhile and know how difficult surviving those Middle School years can be.

Guess the only benefit is that at least my daughter is still several years away from requesting the keys to the car!

9. I have no children, and expect (hope) that I never will.
I don't want children. However, I don't harp on folks that do want children.

I have dogs. They're my kids.

19. None of my own, three of my boyfriend's
kinda glad I didn't have any of my own. I love them but they aren't easy. It's hard to come into their lives when they are teens- troubled ones at that. But I'm so glad they are in my life!
