She owns that song. What a sultry voice...there are few singers as sexy as Peggy Lee.

2. "Is That All There Is?"
I've been a fan of Ms. Lee's for a long time. And hers IS the definitive version of "Fever"...and that most definitely includes, ugh, Madonna's version. :puke:

3. Went to a tribute show at the Hollywood Bowl last summer
for Miss Peggy Lee. It featured a biographical film, and performances by about a dozen artists.

4. Believe it or not,
Elvis Presley did a far better version of "Fever" than Miss Lee. Even she admitted it.

It's on his "Elvis Is Back!" album.

But, Miss Lee knew everything in "Is That All There is?".

6. "Never know how much I love you....
...never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I get a feeling that's too hard to bear

You give me fever"
